Getting to Helsingborg
By train or bus: For inter-city train rides within Sweden we offer a 10% discount on all trains to/from Helsingborg with SJ (national rail company). For details, see below.
For regional and local travel, Skånetrafiken is your best choice for Helsingborg and across Skåne. The easiest way to buy a ticket is at the vending machines at the train stations, or via Skånetrafiken’s mobile app.
By plane: For air travel, Copenhagen Kastrup Airport (CPH) offers the largest number of direct international connections. Use the train terminal inside the airport and take one of Skånetrafiken’s super convenient direct train services to Helsingborg (about 1 hour).

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
UF22 will take place in the city centre of Helsingborg. Its main venue is the brand new Clarion Hotel Sea U, at Kungsgatan 1, 252 21 Helsingborg.
You will receive an email with all infos on how to register closer to the event.
When you get to Helsingborg, you’ll find the conference check-in desks located in the lobby area of the Clarion Hotel SeaU. Simply provide your name, and you will get your own badge, serving as a ticket for all venues and sessions.
If possible, make use of picking up your badge on May 31 already. This will help you avoid waiting in the morning of June 1.
Check-in opens on May 31 at 2:00 pm. Once you’re checked in for UF22, all you need to do is get your conference pass (and put it around your neck).

As always, you chose the session you want to attend and just be there. With limited capacity, be sure you are there on time. Few selected sessions, however, do require pre-registration: those sessions are specifically marked.
All field trips, in contrast, do require pre-registration.
Yes.
Pre-registration to field trips is mandatory as available seats are ususally highly limited. Pre-registration will open early May and as a ticket holder, you’ll be informed well before the registration window opens.

UF22 brings together CityChangers from all over the world. In order to make the experience most enjoyable for everyone, all Urban Future sessions will be in English.
Yes, the ticket may be transferred to another person before UF22 has started.
To make a name change, contact the Urban Future service team at: tickets@urban-future.org. Please note that for name changes, a fee of €10 applies.
Different conditions apply for special tickets such as student tickets, start-up tickets and young leader tickets. Please contact the service team for details.

On the conference days of June 1 and June 2, UF22 offers morning & afternoon coffee breaks as well as a vegetarian lunch at Clarion Hotel SeaU.
Yes, of course. You will automatically receive it after the conference.
With the COVID situation constantly changing, so are the required measures and regulations. Your well-being, however, is our top priority. Urban Future follows all current recommendations of the Swedish authorities and we’re continuously updating our measures accordingly.
In any case, we will let you know in advance if any action should be required from your end (such as a negative test result).
In the unlikely event that UF22 gets cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, Urban Future will provide you with a credit voucher to be used for any of the upcoming events. If the voucher is not used within two years, you can claim a full refund.

Helsingborg is a very beautiful city – both its city center and the surrounding area. If you wish to stay a little further away, we recommend checking out our WHERE TO STAY map, along with answers to the question “How do I get to Helsingborg and the Expo?”, as the paths to the main venue vary, depending on your different locations.
With every purchase of the UF22 ticket, you get free access to the whole H22 Expo. There you can enjoy and participate in plenty of activities designed for children – they will not get bored!
Outside the Expo, they can enjoy playgrounds, such as Surflekan playground, a surf-inspired playground next to the sea at Gröningen, Slottshagens lekplats, a medieval-inspired playground nearby Kärnan, or Princesses and Dragons playground at Drottninghög.
Since you will be in Helsingborg in June, why not include a fun beach day at Fria Bad with a famous water swing in your programme, or at Domsten with a 500-m-long fine sandy beach. Both beaches are child-friendly with many various activities for them to take part in.

Don’t forget to try bulle med bulle, a.k.a “a bun within a bun” – a bun typically stuffed with arrack-infused chocolate. Ever since the 1940s, Bulle med bulle has been a popular snack in northwestern Skåne.

Kulturmagasinet is an ever-growing museum, full of many interesting relics, from olden weapons and clothes to more modern VHS cassettes and sneakers. It tells about the history that was and the history that’s being made.
See for yourself why Sofiero is one of the world’s most beautiful gardens. With the exhibition in the castle, sea views, magical forest, and beautiful gardens, this is a park for the whole family to enjoy.
Stop at the Kärnan tower, which stands as the last piece of Helsingborg’s castle.
Raus Kyrka, located in the southern part of Helsingborg, is one of the oldest and best-preserved churches in Helsingborg and stands as one of the most incredible sightseeing points in Helsingborg.
Take a walk through Sweden’s first pedestrianised street: Kullagatan, which offers plenty of possibilities – from shopping, enjoying coffee while admiring the view, or indulging in fine dining.

Since you’ll be coming to Helsingborg in June, we recommend taking a stroll down the Norra Hamnen harbour and enjoying a cup of coffee with the picturesque scenery of colourful boats and modern residential developments.
Experience northwestern Skåne’s rich food and farm tradition in Wallåkrabygden. In this scenic countryside, enjoy tasting local food and shopping for local crafts.
And of course, try Surströmming, one of the world’s most infamous canned foods, known for its bad smell. The can contains a fermented Baltic Sea herring and is consumed only by the bravest.
