The #1 challenge I want to tackle in my city is...finding new uses for vacant stores in the city center. Increasing vacancies not only have a negative impact on the quality of urban spaces, but also on urban life itself. However, vacancies also offer potential and opportunities to establish new types of use, such as uses for the common good or urban production, which need to be actively put to practice. I would like to see a city center that does not lose its vibrancy and enables every resident to participate in public life on an equal footing, thereby continuing to form the city's core identity.
