Elizaveta Fakirova strongly believes there is one way we can bring nature back to cities: collaboratively! 🌿 With a background in landscape architecture and city management, Liza is currently writing her dissertation at the Technical University of Munich on collaborative efforts to strategically integrate green infrastructure into urban areas. She is also heavily involved in the JUSTNature project, which focuses on a just transition to low-carbon cities through solutions inspired by nature. Beside this, she is working with four like-minded professionals to develop a new collaborative platform, "What's That Green?". Once complete, this aims to build a human network connecting those dedicated to creating the urban green one. As a TEDx speaker, German Chancellor Fellow, and active member of All Things Urban, Liza inspires others to plant trees, launch pilot projects, and seek allies in municipalities to create urban green spaces.
