Christophe Najdovski
Deputy Mayor of Revegetation, Green Spaces, Biodiversity & Animal Condition at City of Paris | France
The first Parisian deputy mayor in charge of animal welfare Christophe Najdovski aims to bring back the nature in public spaces of the city. His roadmap includes actions like the plantation of more than 17,000 trees and the transformation of Paris into a “Garden City” by revitalising and vegetating the public space where ever possible. Through his experience as President of the European Cyclists’ Federation (2018-2021) and having been in charge of transports and public space (2014-2020), Christophe significatively contributed to the bike development in Paris and iconic and strategic transformations such as the pedestrianisation of the Seine Banks.
