Carina Borgström Hansson is a passionate veggie growing salsa dance queen wannabe in private life, and Director WWF Cities when it comes down to business. Professionally, she is most passionate about how cities can lead to support both attractive AND sustainable lifestyles, since this is how we will win the battle for a future where we can all thrive within the capacity of our planet. Through the One Planet City Challenge within the WWF Cities global programme, they have mobilised over 700 cities from 5 continents – so far – to disclose their climate data and action plans for scrutiny by WWF. The cities eventually receive guidance, training, and individual feedback reports on how to develop more impactful actions based on reaching the Paris Agreement objectives.
