Always on the lookout for how new tech from the IN2 labs can make a positive difference to folks from different sectors, Alexandru Stan is leading the R&D team in European Research and Innovation projects. As coordinator of the 5Dculture project, which aims to demonstrate how 3D cultural heritage content can be reused in different scenarios, he actively engages with different stakeholders and technologies, creating synergies to build the capacity of cultural heritage professionals who work with 3D. These actions directly support the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural sector and foster the creation and reuse of content in the cultural and creative sectors. Alexandru aims to inspire others for the possibilities of new technologies – like 3D, XR, AI – and (digital) cultural heritage to transform urban spaces in future cities and reflective communities.
