Carlos Pardo

Founder of sabidurAI | Colombia

Carlos Pardo is a Colombian psychologist with an MSc in Contemporary Urbanism from the London School of Economics. He has worked on topics related to cities, mobility, climate change, technology / digitization and linkages between these topics from the advocacy and policy perspectives, with several projects in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the United States. Carlos worked predominantly with multilateral/ cooperation agencies and development banks. He has taken part in the delivery of more than 100 training courses, and has written various chapters, books and articles. Carlos advised, managed, coordinated and supervised of various international projects in developing cities. He is proud recipient of the Danish Cycling Embassy’s 2018 Leadership Award, a proud recipient of the Danish Cycling Embassy’s 2018 Leadership Award, and a Distinguished TUMI friend 2019. He founded Despacio.org in 2008, being Executive Director until 2018, was with New urban Mobility Alliance during 2018-2022 and created sabidurAI in early 2021. He currently works as advisor and consultant to UNEP, World Bank, GRSP.
