Bettina Bunk
Global Sustainability & Cooperation at State Capital Stuttgart | Germany
Bettina Bunk’s focus is on the localisation of global sustainability goals. In this work, she draws on multidisciplinary interests and experiences, ranging from governance and international cooperation to municipal development, democratisation, and civil society participation. Equally as diverse is Bettina’s professional experience. She has held roles in strategy development, public management, and governmental and NGO-based research. It’s this – research – that she conducts with State Capital Stuttgart, but formerly also at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation (FES). Bettina holds a PhD in Political Science and two Mas: one in Political Science & Sociology, and the other in Development Studies.
