Arthur Hinsch works at the ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability, European Secretariat as Officer for Climate Policy & Energy Governance. He focuses on promoting collective energy action and the socially-inclusive and just uptake of renewable energy infrastructure with a particular emphasis on the role of local governments. This often includes the management of co-creation processes, which results in policies and actions addressing energy communities, energy poverty, integrated climate, and energy planning, as well as the application of hydrogen technologies in urban contexts. He is also part of the Covenant of Mayors Office, bringing together signatory cities to engage in peer-learning and capacity building around climate change mitigation and adaptation measures.
