Antje Becker-Boley

Antje Becker-Boley has been in the energy game with CMS for more than 20 years – most of which as partner. As an expert for all legal issues relating to the energy industry, she advises utilities, energy suppliers, manufacturers, plant operators, banks, and investors on matters of corporate law for German and international energy projects. Her particular interest lies in the context of renewable energies, decentralised energy generation, electric mobility, contract law, and energy contracting. In recent years, a major part of Antje’s work has been to advise on the installation and operation of charging infrastructure and the relevant energy law issues that have emerged alongside it. With a broad expertise on transactions and corporate law, her practice also covers the acquisition of energy projects and their rights. Antje is a member of the CMS energy law group and the CMS automotive group. Since 2015, she has headed the company’s mergers and acquisitions with the M&A Energy excellence cluster, and now also co-chairs the Corporate M&A group.
