My first action as the mayor of my city is…make transparent to everyone who owns which property. This is often the first information needed for successful placemaking. This step goes hand in hand with making unuesed spaces available to people in need for space. Be it homeless, refugees, students, placemakers or experimenters. A big NO to property speculation.
